Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.
September 9, 2024: Tsvetelina Ilieva
Binghamton University.
America East Conference.
NCAA Division I.
Senior. 5'11" Outside Hitter.

Last Week’s Action:
• Ilieva was Most Valuable Player of the Fairfield Invitational, leading Binghamton over Boston College, Central Connecticut and Fairfield.
• In the three victories Ilieva scored 47 kills at .281 efficiency. She also posted 30 digs, nine blocks and six ace serves.
• Ilieva is two-time Player of the Year of the America East Conference, winning the award in 2022 and 2023.
• Five times last year Ilieva won the league’s Player of the Week award.
• In August Ilieva was named America East Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the league’s top honor for women student-athletes.
• Ilieva transferred to Binghamton in 2022 from Seton Hall University, following her head coach, Allie Yaeger, who made the same move.
• In Bulgaria Ilieva competed for the Ahil Volley junior club. She trained at younger ages in basketball, rhythmic gymnastics and track & field.
