Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.
Nov. 4, 2024: Andrea Simovski

Last Week’s Action:
• Simovski led Utah State to two wins in the Mountain West Conference as the Aggies contended for a second consecutive league title.
• Simovski scored 29 kills at .368 efficiency in a sweep of Nevada 3-0 and a victory over Boise State 3-1.
• Utah State is in fourth place of the tightly bunched, 11-team league. The Aggies are 8-4. Colorado State is on top with a 10-2 mark.
• By a big margin Simovski, a freshman, has logged the most court time of all Aggie players. She’s been a six-rotation fixture from the start.
• Simovski ranks second on the team in kills and digs. She’s first in aces.
• Utah State dominated last year’s Mountain West reguar season with a 17-1 mark but lost in the championship semifinals to Fresno State.
• Simovski played last season in Serbia’s top women’s league, SuperLiga, for OK Radnički. She competed also for Radnički’s junior team.
• In earlier years Simovski played for OK Roda, Red Star and Lucky Star. She took up volleyball at age 8.
