Last Week:
• Simovski paced Utah State to two sweeps on the road in the Mountain West. The Aggies rolled past New Mexico and Grand Canyon.
• The sophomore scored 21 kills at .216 efficiency and led Utah State’s receivers, handling 40 serves with only one error.
• Simovski has been the Aggies’ steadiest six-rotation player since she arrived in Logan as a freshman last season.
• This year she’s leading Utah State’s passing with a .957 efficiency rate while receiving 234 serves, most among the Aggies.
• Simovski is also Utah State’s best server for a second season. She has posted 16 aces this year with only 12 errors.
• Simovski is majoring in Economics and earned academic honors as a freshman. She was named a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.
• In Serbia, Simovski last competed for OK Radnički in SuperLiga, the nation’s top women’s league. She played also on Radnički’s junior team.
• Simovski competed in previous years for the clubs OK Roda, Red Star and Lucky Star. She took up volleyball at age 8.
