Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Last Week’s Action:
• Simovski was MVP of the Mountain West championship tournament as Utah State capped a perfect 20-0 season record in the league.
• The Aggies swept Colorado State 3-0 in the tourney’s title match after edging Boise State 3-2 in the semifinals.
• In the final, Simovski hit at .526 efficiency for 11 kills while collecting 14 digs. She led all players for the tourney in both points and digs.
• The NCAA tournament is next for Utah State. The Aggies will meet Tennessee in the first round, hosted by Arizona State.
• Simovski has been Utah State’s steadiest six-rotation player since she arrived in Logan as a freshman last season.
• This year Simovski leads the Aggie receivers with a .960 efficiency rate while handling 594 serves. Both marks are the team’s highest.
• Simovski has earned academic honors while majoring in Economics. She was named a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete as a freshman.
• In Serbia, Simovski last competed for OK Radnički in SuperLiga, the nation’s top women’s league and among Europe’s strongest.
• Simovski competed in previous years for OK Roda, Red Star and Lucky Star. She first took up volleyball at age 8.
