Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

Nov. 10, 2025: Radostina Marinova

Last Week’s Action:

• Marinova took the lead as the top scorer in Romania’s A1 league this season. She powered Dinamo Bucuresti over host Constanta 3-0.
• Marinova floored 15 kills in the sweep. She’s averaging a league-high 4.92 points per set. Dinamo is in third place of the 10-team league.
• This is Marinova’s eighth season of professional volleyball in Europe.
• She transferred to Dinamo Bucuresti this year after a season in Italy’s top league with Vero Volley Milano.
• She played previously in France for RC Cannes and Paris Saint-Cloud.
• In Marinova’s only year at Long Beach State, she was the team’s top freshman and was named to the Big West All-Freshman Team.
• At LBSU Marinova doubled as a middle and opposite. She returned to Europe to play professionally and with Bulgaria’s national team.
• As a child, before taking up volleyball, Marinova trained in rhythmic gymnastics. Bulgaria is a longtime world leader in the sport.
