Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

November 11, 2024: Iva Popović

Last Week’s Action:

• Popović powered Bradley over Missouri State 3-1 and Southern Illinois 3-0. She has led a turnaround for Bradley since she arrived this year.
• In the two wins Popović scored 33 kills at .387 efficiency. She’s leading Bradley this season in kills and ace serves. She ranks second in digs.
• The Braves have jumped from last place in the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference standings to fifth place this year in the 12-team league.
• Popović transferred to Bradley this year after two All-America seasons at New Mexico Junior College. She was NMJC’s all-purpose star.
• Led by Popović, New Mexico reached the NJCAA Championship finals in just the fourth season of the college’s volleyball program.
• Popović took up volleyball at age 8 in her home of Leposavić, Kosovo. She moved at age 14 to Belgrade, Serbia, to join the OK Roda club.
