Each week of the spring and fall seasons, one player who was originally reported as a recruit by AVSR Global is named Player of the Week for an exceptional performance.

August 26, 2024: Karlotta Kattai

Colby Community College.

Freshman. 5'9" Outside Hitter.

Last Week’s Action:

• In her American debut, Kattai powered Colby to four wins and emerged as the nation’s leading passer-hitter among junior college teams.
• Colby swept its four matches at the Midland College Kick-Off Classic in Texas, defeating Panola, Lee, New Mexico and host Midland.
• Kattai scored 64 kills at .299 efficiency, averaging 4.6 kills per set. As a receiver she committed only two errors while handling 69 serves.
• Colby is the defending champion of NJCAA Region VI. Last year’s team posted a 23-11 record and placed 12th at the NJCAA finals.
• Kattai has competed for Estonia’s national team at the women’s and junior levels. As a beach player she topped Estonia’s junior rankings.
• Kattai trained daily as a student-athlete at Audentes Sport School, a boarding school in Tallinn for athletes from throughout Estonia.
